On the list of most popular tourist destinations in both United States and throughout the world is Hawaii. Hawaii is a state comprising of islands. Sandy Beach is a fantastic spot to have sun and sand, while Hanauma Bay provides a fantastic place to snorkel.

One of the most interesting attractions to see on the ecotourism front side of Hawaii’s Big Island is Mount Kilauea and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Visiting this National Park will place you face to face with the elements. Hiking, walking, and traveling through this Park, you are going to see Mauna Loa and Kilauea. Within the state park, you can benefit from the Crater Rim Drive, stopping at Steaming Bluff, the Halemaumau Overlook, the Devastation Trail as well as many more enticing monuments of Mother Nature.

In addition to volcanoes and beaches, there are also many adventure opportunities to experience. Whether it’s ATV rides, airplane tours, skydiving, or windsurfing, there is a lot of adventure to enjoy on the Hawaii islands. Along with these items, you can enjoy parasailing, snorkeling, sailing, sailplane rides and surfing. There are also shark encounters to be had. Exclusively observed on Oahu, shark excursion tours leave the Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor for 2 hour tours within Hanauma bay hours. During this trip, people have the ability to feel the thrill of coming near sharks in a shark cage.

Lastly, there are the historical and cultural aspects of Hawaii. You can visit Pearl Harbor and The U.S.S. Arizona Memorial. You can also check out Polynesian Culture Center, the Royal Palace, Queen Emma’s Palace and Bishop Museum. There are also historic sugar plantations and ancient Hawaiian Temple Sites to explore. For a taste of contemporary Hawaiian culture, you can enjoy the traditional Luaus. Be ready for fish, roasted pig, sweet potatoes and many more tasty foods. Save room for desserts.
